The stainless steel folding hook is a new edition of a design classic. Originally used as a clothes airer in Viennese town houses around 1900, it was used to air coats when the weather was fine. When it rained, the hook was folded down to keep the coat away from the wall so that it could dry without dampening the wall. The hook is made of solid, brushed stainless steel. It is laser-cut and polished by hand in around 20 minutes. When folded out, it offers space for several coat hangers. With a material thickness of six millimetres, it is robust and can carry heavy loads.

Our bar-shaped coat hooks with groove combine timeless design with functionality. They are made of solid stainless steel V2A (CNS) and are precisely turned from solid material. Like all PHOS elements, these hooks are also polished by hand, whereby their silky matt surface in a satin finish emphasises the high-quality materiality to optimum effect. The end face is ground radially and ensures a precise, uniform ground finish.
