PHOS manufactures the systems from solid V2A stainless steel at its own factory in Karlsruhe; they are hand-brushed and finished to a satin matt finish. The straight line guides the shower curtain smoothly between two walls, along a wall or suspended freely in the room. The range includes niche rails in Ø 12 mm and Ø 20 mm, single-sided free-hanging and fully free-hanging designs, solutions for sloping ceilings, swivelling shower curtain rods and cable tensioning systems for shower curtains. Depending on the layout of the room, the rod is fixed to the wall, glued in place without drilling, or suspended from the ceiling. Custom lengths and made-to-measure options are available. Matching shower curtains and hook-through hooks complete the system.

Straight, made-to-measure shower curtain rail for alcoves
A straight shower curtain rail in an alcove is surrounded by three walls. We offer bespoke design solutions for walk-in showers in custom lengths. The curtain rail is fixed from wall to wall using concealed wall brackets. As well as a solid shower curtain rail made from 12 mm solid material, a 20 mm stainless steel tube is also available. In general, it is also possible to attach the curtain rail to the side wall. Using a special adhesive adapter, the shower curtain rail can be fixed to wall brackets on smooth surfaces – such as tiles or glass.

If you have a sloping ceiling or sloping walls,find an attractive solution with our shower curtain rail system. We use a flexible angle bracket for mounting at an angle to a sloping wall. This means that any angle can be accommodated with an attractive and sturdy mounting option. Accessible shower curtain rail with ceiling mount
Shower curtain rails that are mounted directly to the ceiling are both highly functional and beautifully designed. Our ceiling bracket is fitted to the ceiling using a concealed sleeve and can be customised to any height. The ceiling mounting is simple and can also be combined with a wall bracket and a ceiling mount. The shower curtain can be easily pulled over the ceiling suspension system using the looped supports. At each end of the rod, a stopper prevents the curtain from slipping off. We manufacture both the rail and the ceiling bracket to your exact specifications and also supply matching curtain hooks and curtains.

Curved shower curtain rail for corner baths and alcoves
Our curved shower curtain rail is ideal for a bath in an alcove. This is because it offers maximum use of space and creates a harmonious look. The mountings are designed so that the shower curtain can be pulled over the brackets. This convenient PHOS loop-through technique is ensured by our loop-through hooks. Customised dimensions are also available.

The ‘throwing-through’ technique
We have developed the ‘throwing-through’ technique to enable a curtain to be drawn right across a ceiling or wall mounting. This system works with both wall and ceiling mountings. The curtain hooks are shaped so that they glide over the mounting and can be pulled through unhindered. We therefore refer to the ceiling or wall suspension system as a ‘sliding support’.
