Direct from the manufacturer: Stainless steel hanging coat racks from PHOS provide space-saving coat rack solutions for hallways, entrance areas, alcoves and room corners. The suspended models are fixed to the ceiling or mounted on a combination of wall and ceiling brackets, keeping the space below clear. The range includes ceiling-mounted coat racks, suspended clothes rails, versions with hooks and models with an optional glass shelf. They are manufactured in our workshop in Karlsruhe from solid stainless steel, finely polished by hand to a uniform finish. They come with a 10-year guarantee and a lifetime repair service.

Ceiling-mounted coat rack
A ceiling-mounted coat rack, which is fitted to the ceiling as a vertical clothes rail, offers an attractive way– even in very confined spaces – to hang numerous coats and jackets. Even when empty, they serve as a sculptural feature in the home. The 360° rotatable stainless steel hooks, made from the finest chrome-nickel steel (CNS), are not only ideal for room corners and alcoves; they also ensure flexible use without touching the wall or floor. For its exceptional design, the Take 5 received the prestigious Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and a place in the museum’s permanent design collection.

Sturdy ceiling mounting
The coat racks are mounted to the ceiling using a ceiling bracket. Thanks to the cross-mounted pin used for securing them, the ceiling-mounted coat racks can support more weight and hang firmly and securely. The hanging coat racks are supplied with a full set of fitting materials and detailed assembly instructions.

Suspended clothes rail
A suspended clothes rail, which hangs gracefully from the ceiling, takes up very little space. One advantage is that there are no trip hazards on the floor, making cleaning easier. We offer a wide range of options, from a minimalist hanging clothes rail to combinations featuring a glass shelf and swivelling coat hooks on the sides. The dimensions can be customised – both in terms of the height from the ceiling and the length of the clothes rail. For installation in alcoves, combinations with wall and ceiling fixings are also available. All components are made from solid stainless steel and are extremely sturdy and durable.

A suspended clothes rail frees up floor space
Suspended clothes rails, which are fixed to the ceiling, have the invaluable advantage of leaving extra space on the floor. This also applies to challenging room layouts or unused corners. Cleaning is easier, and a hallway or entrance area appears more spacious. Here too, glass shelves for hats and scarves can be added, and further hooks for coats or bags can be included in the design. The glass shelf can also be replaced with a wooden one, offering additional design flexibility. Even the space behind a door can be put to good and attractive use with a slim ceiling-mounted coat rack. In room alcoves, hanging coat racks – fitted to the wall and ceiling in customised dimensions – may also be the best option.
