PHOS cable tensioning sets are slimline cable tensioning systems for curtains and drapes. They replace the traditional curtain rail wherever a delicate, flexible or structurally tailored solution is required.
Direct from the manufacturer: We manufacture the system components from solid V2A stainless steel at our workshop in Karlsruhe. The NIRO wire rope (Ø 1.5 mm) guides the fabric smoothly and discreetly through the room. Three variants are available: axial from wall to wall, lateral parallel to the wall or ceiling, and axial-lateral for combined installations.
Depending on the version, spans of up to 3, 5 or 10 metres are possible. Corner deflectors enable solutions for corners, bay windows and alcoves. Angle-adjustable wall brackets are suitable for sloping ceilings and walls.
Supplied as a ready-to-install set. Made from stainless steel, carefully crafted, with a 10-year guarantee and a lifetime repair service.

And if heavy curtains threaten to sag, they can easily be retightened using a cable tensioner. Even when suspended from the ceiling, custom curtain cable lengths are possible, as are made-to-measure wall distances with lateral ‘side mounting’. Solutions for corners and alcoves are also possible, depending on the variant. Suitable accessories for hanging a curtain, such as cord hooks and a cord clamp, as well as curtain rings, further expand the possibilities.

Stainless steel cable tensioning kits
A complete cable tensioning kit has a modern look and, thanks to the use of numerous functional solutions, can be adapted to a wide variety of room layouts. For example, a corner can be worked around using a corner pulley. And if the cable threatens to sag, it can easily be retensioned using a cable tensioner. This characteristic of stainless steel cables, caused by the elongation of the strands, can be prevented by incorporating our tension rod into the design.
Even when suspended from the ceiling, custom lengths for the cable system are possible, as are wall distances made to measure with lateral ‘side mounting’. Solutions for corners and alcoves are also feasible, depending on the variant. Suitable accessories for hanging a curtain, such as cable hooks and cable clamps, as well as curtain rings, round off the range of options.

Customised solutions for curtain cable systems
We offer robust, high-quality solutions for customised cable tensioning systems. With an angle-adjustable wall bracket, installation on an inclined mounting surface – such as a sloping roof – is very straightforward, even on both sides. All support elements are made from solid material, precision-turned and hand-finished.
A suitable intermediate support for longer cables and greater tensioning distances, e.g. across a window front, can be flexibly mounted and counteracts sagging. And thanks to the combination with a corner pulley, the entire cable tensioning system can be fitted in one or two corners in no time at all. The modern and timeless design complements any curtain and perfectly showcases your living space – regardless of whether you wish to mount it on the wall or ceiling.

Curtain rings and hooks for cable tensioning systems
Stainless steel curtain rings and hooks in a timeless design, designed to complement our modern cable tensioning systems. Depending on the version, they feature integrated scratch protection for smooth, quiet gliding of the curtain. Or simply minimalist and understated – also available in pure stainless steel. And should your much-loved curtain not have eyelets or loops, our special stainless steel rings with clips make it child’s play to attach them, without the need for any alterations to the fabric.

Practical tips – good to know:
- Tip 1: Wrap the cut end as tightly as possible with strong adhesive tape. This prevents the wire from fraying after cutting.
- Tip 2: To provide additional protection against fraying, we recommend cutting the rope to length using a good pair of side-cutting pliers. You can order a high-quality, suitable pair of side-cutting pliers from us .
