The high table with grey linoleum top is based on the Karlsruhe table system and follows a clear, constructive logic. The frame made of solid stainless steel ensures high stability and durability - even with intensive use. The table top is firmly screwed to the frames and forms a stable unit with the frame.
The high table is suitable as a high table for work and meeting areas meeting areas, as a reception table or for catering applications.

Ergonomic table height for standing and high tables
The right table height is crucial for relaxed working while standing. Regardless of the table format, the height should be chosen so that the forearms rest comfortably with the shoulders hanging loosely - usually at a 90-degree angle to the upper arm.
- Under 165 cm tall: approx. 95 - 100 cm table height
- 165 - 180 cm body height: approx. 100 - 110 cm table height
- 180 - 195 cm body height: approx. 110 - 115 cm table height
- over 195 cm body height: approx. 115 - 120 cm table height
PHOS manufactures standing and high tables in fixed heights exactly to measure. Matching table heights allow the working height to be adjusted at a later date.
Application areas
Suitable for office and work environments, reception areas, cafés and restaurants as well as private living spaces. Also designed for use in contract and project areas.
Series + variants
The Karlsruhe table is not a one-off design, but part of a consistent series. The universal stainless steel frame forms the structural basis for high tables, desks, dining tables, studio and work tables and matching benches. All variants follow the same design language and can be customised in terms of dimensions, heights and versions: for both indoor and outdoor use.

Origin + processing
Made from brushed V2A stainless steel solid material in our manufactory in Karlsruhe. All metal parts are polished by hand to a satin finish for high durability, a pleasant feel and a consistent finish. The production with green electricity in a closed material cycle. The high table is inspired by the constructive clarity of Egon Eiermann. The minimalist design without cross-bracing gives the table a calm, architectural presence with a high level of stability.
