Our stainless steel curtain rail system is not only flexible and aesthetically pleasing, but also robust enough to support heavy thermal and acoustic curtains. Installation of thermal and acoustic curtains
The following installation tips come from the company Eigengut from Konau: If the curtain is installed in a doorway or passageway, the curtain width should be calculated using the formula "passageway width x 1.3" in order to achieve a slight drape. The curtain length should be 2 cm shorter than the passageway height to ensure a floor-free hanging.
If the curtain is installed in front of a door or window, the width of the door or window plus 40 cm overhang should be taken and also multiplied by 1.3. The height of the curtain results from the door height plus 20 cm overhang at the top, less 1 cm air at the bottom.
In order to achieve a uniform appearance, the eyelets should be fitted at intervals of 15 to 25 cm, depending on the curtain width. The distance to the top edge is 4 cm.
